An apparently unread copy in sterling condition, purchased, it would appear, from the publisher's bookstore (since brochure is laid in), spine still crackling. The item contains a very large number of the letters to and from Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986) in celebration of her centennial, a massively large, coffee table-sized homage published in conjunction with an exhibition. Letters selected and explained by Sarah Greenough, presented and edited by Jack Cowart and Juan Hamilton. Gorgeously reproduced full-color plates (120) and 20 black-and-white illustrations chosen from the very best of O'Keeffe's paintings and drawings, especially her flower paintings, her city-scapes and land-scapes, her still-lives and figure studies. Cowart has provided a personal biography, Hamilton a social history of her art circle, then a full catalogue. Handsomely produced in pictorial stiff card-stock.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
