Robert Bulwer-Lytton, who wrote under the pseudonym Owen Meredith, was an English Statesman and Poet. The son of novelist Edward Bulwer-Lytton, Robert Bulwer-Lytton was better remembered for his role as a diplomat and Viceroy of India. He published several volumes of poetry as well as literary remains and letters of his father. In half calf bindings with marbled boards by Field and Co. Externally, slightly rubbed with wear to extremities and especially at head and tail of spines. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean with spotting to first and last few pages, and the occasional spot in the text. Very Good. book.
