The top end of the text block is orange; the other two ends have darkened; the foredge has a 1/4 in. stain. On the spine strip, two letters of the publisher's name have darkened, and the bottom, decorative band is a little rubbed. The pages are lightly tanned. DJ: Black letters and illustrations are on goldtone paper; 8 chips, 1/4 in. to 1/2 in.; a dz. closed tears, 1/4 in. to 1 1/2 in.; the spine panel has darkened; the back panel has a few, small stains on a corner and an owner's name light ink.
