Ajouter au panierPaperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book provides a comprehensive history of the political and social struggle between the English and Irish. The author, an Irish historian, traces the origins of the conflict to the Norman invasion of Ireland in the 12th century and examines the complex interplay of power, religion, and culture that has shaped the relationship between the two nations. The book explores the role of English colonialism in shaping Irish identity, the impact of the Reformation on Irish society, and the ongoing struggle for Irish independence. The author argues that the conflict between England and Ireland is not simply a matter of national identity but also a reflection of the broader clash between Catholicism and Protestantism in Europe. Ultimately, the book offers a nuanced and thought-provoking analysis of one of the most enduring conflicts in modern history. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
