The WRAPPER is complete and is in near FINE condition although the pink colouring to the spine has faded as usually encountered with this title. The wonderful Blake designed wrapper artwork looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival protector. This is a review copy and is accompanied by a Heinemann Young Books Review Slip which is in FINE condition.The book has been Signed (without dedication) by Sir Quentin Blake to the title page. A copy of the ticket for the signing event accompanies this title as provenance. The wrapper design and 22 B/W line drawings are by Quentin Blake. The story is based on Willis Hall's play 'Kidnapped At Christmas'- The story of Crosby and Gilbert, two convicts on the run who had to escape because they couldn't face the prospect of yet another Christmas dinner in jail.
