This talk, and the vugraphs used, focused on the technical issues associated with the computational simulation of coupled, multicomponent systems, as exemplified by the simulation of solid propellant rock motors. Issues addressed included algorithms for data transfer between components with diverse discretizations, software integration, and scalability on parallel computers.
