It is SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, inscribed on the front free endpaper. This book was owned by Florence Graybill. The inscription is to her. She is the author of "Edward Sheriff Curtiss: Visions of a Vanishing Race" and the second daughter of Edward Curtiss, famous Native American and Western photographer (1893-1983). She died in 1987.
