For A.F.Cross from Herbert Palmer, with warm thanks for happy days at his house and by the waterside." ( Albert Francis Cross (18631940) wrote under the pen name of A. F. Cross. He was a noted poet, playwright, journalist and author and the founder of several theatres and newspapers in the English Midlands area. (Wikipedia). Otherwise a VG+ copy, clean, bright and tight. The wrapper is NOT price clipped, it is slightly soiled and the spine is browned and slightly rubbed and also lacks large portion from tail. SCARCE,
