Januar 1945 in Halle) war ein deutscher Kunsthistoriker, Geheimer Oberregierungsrat im Preußischen Kultusministerium und von 1927 bis 1933 Generaldirektor der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin. In seine Amtszeit fällt der Neubau des Pergamonmuseums. Des Weiteren wirkte er als Honorarprofessor an der Universität Berlin. Das Seidenpapier zwischen Frontispiz und Titel ist stockfleckig.
