Wrappers rubbed a bit, else near fine. A controversial short play co-written by seven young British playwrights. Inscribed by two of the authors, David Hare and Stephen Poliakoff. The play was written by a group of seven playwrights, who joined David Hare in a bar, and reportedly wrote the play with crayons on wallpaper. Supposedly based on a real episode, of a lorry driver falsely convicted of rape. The play was rejected by some theaters because of its subject matter: pornography, rape, sexual assault, and was finally produced in another bar at 1:15 in the morning at the Edinburgh Festival. Consequently copies of the book are exceptionally uncommon. *OCLC* locates only five copies over three records, with only one in the UK and one in the US; the other three in Europe.
