Ajouter au panierHardcover. Etat : Very Good. First Edition. 12 mo. 19th century calf and marbled boards. Issue with the face device on title page. Studies in Bibliography VII, 1955 p. 181 designates "face" title device as a reprint and says the earlier issue of the first edition has the "fruit" ornament. An earlier description suggests this to be Alfred, Lord Tennyson's copy with his signature to the title page and a bookplate of Tennyson Caird. But the bookplate actually belongs to Henryson Caird and it looks to be his first name that is inscribed on the t-p. Additional bookplate of Kenneth Rapoport.
