DESCRIPTION : Large scale, 4 inches to the mile, street plan / map, with original hand colouring, sourced from Bacon's "Portable Atlas" of London & Suburbs, published by G.W. Bacon, London. PRINTED IN : 1900. SIZE : approx 28 x 22 cm, (11" x 8.5"), IMAGE SIZE: Approx 27 x 20 cm, (10" x 8"). Sourced from the 'Portable' version of Bacon's London & Suburbs, the slightly more compact dimensions make it suitable, after mounting, to fitting into a 16" x 12" frame or similar. NOTES ON CONDITION: A detailed Original Map in Very Good / Excellent condition, suitable for framing. Sheet map with centre fold, normal guide remains to verso else clear. Minor aging /marking consistent with light usage only. PACKAGING AND SHIPMENT: - The map is placed in a clear polypropylene protective sleeve, and shipped in an extra strong postal tube.
