Later, he wrote: "The greenhouse "is my symbol for the whole of life, a womb, a heaven-on-earth.". A wee bit of shelfwear to the book itself, light rubbing to extremities. Dustjacket (with $2.50 price intact) shows long missing strip, no more than 1" high, across the top of the rear panel, across spine, and a third of the way across the top of the front panel. 1/2".
