Charles William Slemming (1903-1974) was the author of several books on the typological significance of Old Testament passages. He served as a pastor for 11 years in Bangor, Reading, Hove, Thornton Heath, and Upminster, but from 1946 worked for the Bible Testimony Fellowship, of which he became director in 1959. Gift inscription: "To Judy, with happy memories and best wishes from the author, C W Slemming, 25/12/38.". Signed by Author.

All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Ring stain on front.
