Ajouter au panierHardcover. Etat : Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Condition, About Fine. Small 4to. size. 1st thus, #687 of a limited 1500. The cover is fine brown buckram with a full-cover illustration in black, quarter-bound in natural linen, with spine title stamped in brown and gilt. All text block edges are speckled in brown, and the text contains 2-color illustrations in black and white and various shades throughout, interspersed with 5 color full-page pastel drawings tipped in on beige paper, double-page drawings on the pastedowns, and a double-page 5 color drawing across the title pages, all by Charles Mozley, who has signed the colophon. With an introduction by Lewis Casson. There is a faint smudge on the front cover, a single extraneous small black mark, and a small light blue streak near the spine, but the book is otherwise virtually as-new, the covers bright and clean and the text spotless, with no aging or foxing of any kind. The book comes wrapped in a glassine jacket, and is paired with the pamphlet The Revolutionist's Handbook and Pocket Companion. The NF glossy red cover of the pamphlet has a light smudge, and the back cover has a slight warp, but is otherwise bright and clean. The black slipcase is NF, with no flaws except the label of a previous collector on the spine, some very minor edge and corner wear and a vertical scratch on the title label, but otherwise very clean, solid, and tight. A beautiful copy. Signed by Illustrator(s).
