Includes recipes for parsnip stew, fried oyster sandwiches, Jerusalem artichokes, chicken pie, honey comb pudding, carbonated mead, etc. Octavo: [3], 380, [3] pp. including numerous engraved ads for Milwaukee shops and businesses. Original limp burgundy cloth binding, with gilt-stamped titling. Typical mild toning to the contents, with a period newspaper clipping tipped in on the front pastedown. The front hinge is cracked. Some light fading and wear along the extremities.

Edge points gently bumped and worn.  Internally, a gift inscription from the author inked to top of title page, otherwise, pages slightly age-toned but clean.
