These satirical works by the 'Lancashire Hogarth' John Collier are in very good condition in straight grain calf, spine rebacked, inner hinges reinforced. (Not known if they are complete since there is no list). Ink note on page 112. Fairly clean tight text but with some fairly noticeable spotting in places. In a likely contemporary half leather and marbled boards binding. Spine decorated in gold with a burgundy title label stating simply TIM BOBBIN. Spine presents very well.

Overall, very good+. Tim Bobbin (pseudonym for John Collier [1708-1786]) was an early English satirist and caricaturist.
