The first edition of this very scarce work.In the original unclipped dust wrapper.Illustrated with a frontispiece, twelve plates, and in-text line drawings.Collated, complete.Harry Price's brilliant critical survey into five-hundred cases of poltergeists, offering a complete history of the paranormal subject.Most of the cases explored in this volume took place on British soil, however Price researches across hundreds of years and, in his own works, across thousands of miles of space.Price is particularly best known for his investigation into the Borley Rectory in Essex, the case for which is brought completely up to date in this volume. He lived in the rectory from May 1937 to May 1938, and recorded his experiences in what is known as the most haunted house in England.
