Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read; no annotation or inscriptions; tanning to page-ends but text and illustrated endpapers bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.

It now looks fine protected by a brodart archival jacket. No writing inside save for author's graceful autograph in blue ink.
