First American Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Original 1955 First Edition Red Card Stock Covers. Clean pages NOT a library book. B/W Frontis Portrait As Important as Thomas Jefferson and the Bill of Rights is to the foundation of this country, is George Wythe. America is blessed by the legal minds of Virginia who educated a generation of colonial young Virginian Americans. George Withe's beautiful brick house is one of the highlights of colonial Williamsburg. It is also the scene of his murder. Very good shape. A little foxing on the front end paper and on several pages. Tight, B/W illus. It seems murder of American progressive leaders started early.
