Ajouter au panierHardcover. Etat : Fair. Etat de la jaquette : No Dust Jacket. FAIR / NO DUST JACKET. x, 452 pp. Pages are toned and somewhat foxed (some worse than others); a small scrap of newsprint was left in the book and has lightly stained the pages on either side. A few pages have pencil notations and owner's name is written on endpaper in pencil, but there are no other marks. Endpaper at the beginning has very small "nibbled" area on bottom edge, back endpaper has the same but on the top edge, otherwise no other damage. Textblock is darkened, has stray marks on bottom edge. Boards are covered in light brown fabric, imprinted with elaborate foliate designs, state seals, and titling in darker brown on front. Similar designs and a publisher's ad on the back cover, brown titling on spine. Covers are quite worn, smudged, have some stains; corners are bowed in but fabric is intact. Top/tail, sides of spine are bumped and rubbed, worn through in very small spots at top and bottom. Binding is solid. Book appears well-used but has held up well. [Note: "The Normal Course in Number" - singular 'Number' - is not a misprint. That is what appears on the cover and title page.].
