No dust jacket. Medium 8vo. Red cloth binding with decorative blind border and blind stamp mirrored on boards. Gilt lettering and gilt motif on backstrip. Boards have several faint stains and bumped corners. Some minor fraying to backstrip. Both hinges split. End papers are damp stained. Fold out map in place of frontispiece. Ingram Cobbin, M.A. This volume covers Mathew and Mark. 513pp, frontispiece is a folding map of Jerusalem, unmarked and free from any damage, book ads at back and on endpapers. Interior is clean, binding sound. Cloth has a little wear at extremities. Attractive, blind stamped, cloth hardback, period edition, undated, but safe to assume it is 1854.

The body of the book suffers from intermittent minor foxing, else clean, unmarked and solid. Includes a fold out maps of Palestine at the beginning of the Gospel of Matthew and Mark, and one of Jerusalem accompanying Luke and John. A very nice copy. 905 pages, overseas customers plase note the book will attract additional postage.
