Notes On Protesting' documents one of the artist Peter Liversidge's 'Proposals' that was first performed in 2013/14 in London and reperformed at Bonnier…s konsthall in Stockholm in early 2019. The project is the result of a collaboration between the artist and school children from a school in Stepney, London, and Farsta, Stockholm, respectively. Together they created a performance in the form of a protest rally. In various workshops, the children themselves had to decide what they wanted to express and what they might want to protest against. Together they created banners, posters and protest songs that convey their views on the world around them.0The book contains texts by Magnus af Petersens (Director of Bonniers Konsthall), Sofia Victorino (Whitechapel Gallery), and Michael Newman, as well as documentation of the children's work and the musical scores of the songs. Exhibition: The Whitechapel Gallery, London, UK (17.03.16.06.2015) / Bonniers Konsthall, Stockholm, Sweden (07.02.-04.03.2019).
