Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book compiles observations of variable stars collected between 1901-1912 by the Vassar College Observatory. The author presents the results of these observations along with discussions of the methods and instruments used to collect them. The book provides valuable insights into the history of astronomy, as it documents a time when astronomers were transitioning from visual observations to photographic methods. This allowed for the study of fainter stars and contributed to a deeper understanding of stellar variability. The author's careful compilation and analysis of these observations make this book a valuable resource for astronomers and historians of science alike. Its detailed observations and discussions of variable stars offer a glimpse into the development of astronomy during a period of significant technological advancements in the field.
