Ajouter au panierEtat : Near Fine. First Edition. This is an ORIGINAL radio still photograph of FANNY BRICE 1928. Deluxe double weight stock. Black and White. 7 1/2" x 9 3/4". Per the snipe on the verso, "Fannie (sic) Brice will represent the Crosley Radio Corp. at the Radio Industries Banquet at New York City on Sept. 18, from 10-12, eastern day light saving time, from Hotel Astor, New York City." This Banquet was held on September 18, 1928 at the Hotel Astor. Fanny Brice (1891-1951) was an early Ziegfield Follies star who later became a radio star as "Baby Snooks". She was famously married to gambler Nicky Arnstein (1918-1927) and showman Billy Rose (1929-1938). Her life was the subject of the Broadway musical and film "Funny Girl" and the movie sequel "Funny Lady" starring Barbra Streisand as Fanny Brice. A bit rubbed from handling; still, Near Fine and now in a clear 4mil mylar protective envelope.
