Paperback. Etat : new. Paperback. The rapid production and heterogeneity of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) makes it challenging to update environmental laws. By 2050, it is estimated that global waste generation will reach 3.4 billion tons per year. In Brazil, 77.1 million tons of waste were produced in 2022, reinforcing the need t…o improve MSW management, especially in small towns, which have limited financial and human resources. The aim of this research was therefore to design a selective collection project for the city of Perdigao/MG. The first chapter consists of a systematic review of the main methodologies for implementing and improving selective collection. In the second, the physical characteristics of the waste produced in the municipality are determined and the theoretical potential for generating recyclables (PTGR) is estimated. The final chapter details the sizing of selective collection. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
