The text block is in very good condition with firm, straight and unmarked pages, illustrated with b/w photos and sketches by the author. Plus Appendix with 'Sailing Ship Drawings'. More purple scribbles by child on half title page and page facing. No dedications etc. In fair pictorial dust jacket with b/w image of boats and ships to front. The jacket is quite clean to front, grubby to rear; very edge-worn with open and closed tears; top of spine missing; small hole on tail front edge. Not price clipped. In protective plastic sleeve.
