Binding is square and tight. Cloth and stamping is bright. Orange and green illustrated DJ of a crowd of different groups of people, with black lettering on the front cover and spine. DJ is missing pieces along the cover edges and is a bit sun faded along the spine, but the front cover remains bold. DJ is placed in a protective plastic brodart. Black-and-white illustrated frontispiece of an older woman and child titled "The Village Shop". No date on title page. Copyright page is dated 1925, with a letter "B" below the title. 93 pages. Illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard on every page alongside the poems and prose by E. V. Lucas. Interiors are clean and free from marks or tears. A good copy.
