Their combination testifies eloquently to the relationships established between the artist-illustrators and the author over many years. Each poem in this collection was selected by the artist who provided the image. The edition consists of 100 copies, numbered 1-100, this being number 20 which is signed by all twelve of the artists. The book was designed and letterpress and woodcut printing was undertaken by Nicolas McDowall at The Old Stile Press, while the intaglio plates were printed byAnthony Dyson at Black Star Press. The book istelf remains in excellent condition but the accompanying slipcase is rated Good/presentable - a bruise to top spine tip (not reflected in the book), inked price on front panel and some edge fading.
