Bit rubbed along edges, approximately 1/8th inch chipping at head and foot of spine, with two approximately 1/4 inch chips off center portion, 5 inch closed crack along front joint. Internally, front hinge cracked, previous owner's signature dated 1894, paper age lightly yellowed, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read. Literature; Victorian; fine binding.
