Tanned areas on the brown and white patterned end papers; names of two previous owners on the front free end paper. The text block is fairly firm, with slight split in prelims with Contents page and on pages xxviii and page 1 where webbing visible. The rest of the block is secure. Pages are mostly unmarked; apart from 111 and 106/107 which have stains. With gilt cut edges. Attractive head pieces, tail pieces and dropped caps. No dedications etc. Good condition. Without jacket.
