Original owner's name in pen at the top of the front free endpaper - this was Elizabeth Cockcroft (Liffie), daughter of Sir John Cockcroft the Nobel Prize winner. The pages are a little browned but are otherwise clean and unmarked. Jacket is a little browned with a small nick out of the top edge of the rear panel and a small tear to the top right corner of the front panel. First printing of this edition.
