This original print is from the rare topographical work 'Amsterdam met der zelver Voornaamste Gebouwen / D'Amsterdam et deses Principaux Bastimens' published ca. 1665. This work contains a total of one plan and 70 prints depicting the most famous buildings of Amsterdam (many of which are still extant). The prints are engraved after J. Veenhuisen en S. Webbers. He was a student of Gerard de Lairesse. His father was a bookseller/publisher.Condition: Good. Left edge minimally uneven from binding. Tiny wormholes in the top right corner margin, and one wormhole in the top right corner of the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
