In a recent publication ( Reichel-Dolmatoff , 1956) the authors have referred in some detail to the results of our excavations at the Momil site, a site located on the banks of one of the large lagoons in the lower course of the Sinú River. The results of the excavations in other places in the basin of this river are yet to be described, to be incorporated in the future into a significant set for the entire area of the Colombian Caribbean Coast.
