Ajouter au panierHardcover. 1st edition. pp. 254. 8vo. Bound in original brown cloth and with original dust jacket. Our copy is a bit bumped at the corners, and shows slight shelf wear. The contents are clean and tight. Overall, in very good condition. The dust jacket shows the original published price, and depicts a panic-stricken man being frozen to death in a scalding shower. Some time ago, a former owner has used brown paper tape to reinforce the rear of the dust jacket, which is now a little stiff to handle, the tape has not deteriorated, although it has off-set, a bit, to the endpapers of the book. The jacket is rubbed at folds, with chipping to spine and fold ends. It shows some soiling, but has no significant tears or blemishes: in fair to good condition. '.Jigger Masters faces super-criminals who deal death with chemical magic. Imagine a victim frozen to death in a scalding hot bath! That is only one of the baffling strands in the web of murder! Jigger meets science with science, and a shrewdness that reaches genius; and the outcome is a bookful of unequalled thrills.'.
