In very good white textured card with small coloured countryside image inside floral design. The strung-bound card is tight, flat and lightly marked around the edges. Bright, gilt cut edges. The page block is very firm and flat, a few pages have light foxing. Nearly every page is illustrated in black and white - nature, countryside, seas and flowers. The illustrations match the poems. Dedication on half title page. Very good plus condition, especially for age. Not paginated. Issued without jacket.

First Edition. Very good copy in the original pictorial stiff-card wrappers. Slightest suggestion only of dust-dulling to the spine bands and panel edges.
