Having this goal in mind, object-oriented design, client-server architectures, server-side application development tools, and database technologies are explored. Security measures are designed where necessary on the system to prevent unauthorized access and the best configuration of these tools is selected. As a result of the study, PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and Apache server pages are found as the optimal servers side programming tools for the application.
