In overall fair-to-good used condition with some minor signs of age, handling and storage - brown cloth boards generally rubbed with wear to spine head, tail and corners. Internally clean. Binding tight; no annotation or inscriptions - owners signature to front endpaper dated 1930; toning to page-ends and end-papers with a little light scattered foxing here and there but text, maps and illustrations (illustration to p. 146 missing) bright and clear throughout. A great reading copy. Not an old library book.
