This volume covers the period September 14, 1711 - December 18, 1711. The SPECTATOR was a famous series of essays, edited by the members of the fictional Spectator Club. It provided a picture of the social life of the times, while expressing the individual concerns of some of the fictional club members.

Red and black spine bands. "Mary Woodward" is inked and ink stamped on front paste down, and inked on title page and top of first issue. Very light other wear. Overall an attractive, tight, and crisp copy.
