Thornbury is the club of the Graces, thus Foreword by Capt N V Grace of that dynasty. Two features, History in Facts and Historical Playing Facts, can probably both be attributed to Canynge Caple, though not stated as such. Much of course on the Graces but by no means all, as the one hundred years' history is well summarised. Thumb-Nail Sketches of an array of Thornbury players is fascinating and useful, containing no less than 14 Graces in addition to well over 100 others. A few scorecards reproduced in part. Centenary Dinner 1971 is well covered, with a photograph of officers and guests, the latter including Andy Wilson (Gloucestershire wicket-keeper for many years). A fascinating and collectible item. Some edge-wear on front and rear covers.
