Dustjacket age yellowed, with a 2 inch light tan drop mark on rear panel and another dozen or so approximately 1/4 to 1/2 other drop marks, foxed, most notably on reverse side, scuffed, rubbed along edges with a 1 1/2 inch tear on top edge of spine portion, a few 1/4 inch nicks, upper corner of front flap creased; price present. Book itself has dust darkening on top edge of textblock, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read. Modern first; movie.

Occasional thumb marks to pages edges. Boards have slight shelf with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed with light tanning. Slight forward lean to text block. The unclipped dust jacket has moderate edge wear, tears and chips to edges and spine ends. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Duncan Hannah was a key figure in the burgeoning New York underground arts scene, befriending Andy Warhol and his superstars, Lou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Patti Smith, Salvador Dali, and many others. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, his paintings were exhibited in the influential 1980 Times Square Show alongside work by Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, and several of his paintings are held in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A married sales executive must conceal his past affair with a young hitchhiker after his wife agrees to take the girl on as a boarder. Set in Middlesex, shot on location in Hampshire.
