Entries clear & quite legible. 9-3/8" x 7-1/4" ~ 56 pages of notes of a nursing nature, with 10 pages, at center of original poetry in which the author poignantly expresses her thoughts, including frustrations, about nursing, Bellevue & the aftermath of the war. Poem titles include: "Too Much Trained Nurse", "The Same Old Things", and "Rules Which Must Be Heeded". Also of interest are 22 pages at the book's beginning in which Isabelle, in an obvious light-hearted mood, records the names, home towns, preferences (friends, favorite color/flower/song/game/author, etc), pasttimes, as well as ambitions, of 11 of her fellow nurse trainees. Notebook with wear to spine, with pieces missing & mull showing. Other extremity wear. Ownership signature & date to ffep. Overall, notebook: Good. Text: Very Good. Black faux-leather notebook.
