Hand-lettered Buddhist text "page" written on both sides of a strip of stiff tree bark, 1 3/4" X 11¼", n.p. [Burma], n.d. [likely 18th century]. Very good. Moderately age toned and a bit browned at edges. Typical leaf from a Burmese religious text, with each side featuring six text lines finely penned in black ink. A collection of these would be strung together into a "book" through the two ¼" holes visible near the center of each page. Quite attractive and unusual.…
