Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $2.00), showing trivial wear to extremities, some tiny tears and creases to crown and upper corners; Near Fine. The second of six detective novels by Holman (1914-1981), five of which feature his central character Sheriff Macready of fictional Hart County, South Carolina.
