Ajouter au panierHardcover. Etat : Near Fine. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. 1st Edition. Contains 15 short stories. Inscribed by the author: "To Chauncey Leake with all my great admiration and my best friendship", signed by him and dated "New York, June 1965". It seems clear that this presentation is to the well known Dr Chauncey Leake, pharmacologist, medical historian, ethicist and administrator. Marti-Ibanez was himself a physician, psychiatrist and philosopher who wrote books on the history and philosophy of medicine as well as these excellent short stories - many of them with more than a touch of fantasy (a previous collection, "All the Wonders We Seek", 1963, is also worth checking out). Edges very slightly browned, but a near fine copy in very good, slightly browned, rubbed and edgeworn dust jacket. Inscribed by Author(s).
