There is a small stain to the front pastedown & some very light staining to the front endpaper. The fore-edge is foxed with occasional light foxing to the front edges of the leaves. Very good in a good dust wrapper. First edition. Clemence Dane is the pseudonym of Winifred Ashton. Signed by the author as Clemence Dane on the half-title. Also initialed by her, "WA", on the dust wrapper.
