Thematerial covered is organized in such a manner that each chapterdiscusses the photoredox properties of complexes of a series ofmetals which belong to the same column of the periodic table,including both transition metals and main group metals (for thosethat show photoactivity). Foremostly, the book covers photoinducedprocesses in which the primary step is a charge transfer reactionof the excited metal complex. It is concerned primarily within–depth descriptions and discussions of the photochemistry ofcomplexes themselves, with less emphasis on theoreticaldiscussions.
This book is aimed at professional photochemical researchers aswell as students and chemists who are interested in organometallicand inorganic metal complexes and plan to become familiar withtheir charge transfer photochemistry.
