Alfred North Whitehead OM FRS FBA (1861 1947) was an English mathematician and philosopher. He created the philosophical school known as process philosophy, which has been applied in a wide variety of disciplines, including ecology, theology, education, physics, biology, economics, and psychology. This is the personal copy of Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin Stanley Baldwin (1867 1947), British statesman and Conservative politician who dominated the government of the United Kingdom between the world wars. He was prime minister on three occasions, from May 1923 to January 1924, from November 1924 to June 1929, and from June 1935 to May 1937. It is is in good condition, with fading on the spine and just minor wear overall. The binding is sound. Although the book appears to have been read, there are unfortunately no annotations or other marks beyond Baldwin's signature and date "April 1927" on the ffep. A photocopy of a 1923 letter from Baldwin in laid inside the rear cover to provide a comparison signature for reference. PB21. N° de réf. du vendeur B776
