Hardcover. Etat : Fine. 1st Edition Special Edition. Deluxe, signed limited edition, 332 of 350 bound in full black leather. In 1975, the Rolling Stones documented their mammoth 40-show American tour - T.O.T.A 75 - in its entirety. Their trusted friend, Christopher Sykes, was brought along to create a visual and written record of their journey. Travelling with the band in a specially commissioned aircraft called the Starship, Sykes was a constant companion to the band for the entirety of the tour. His photographs, diary entries, and daily newsletters will give you a front-row seat on the Starship, a backstage pass for prep with the band, and along with the members during their activities. This handmade, leatherbound book and boxed set is the result of these efforts: an official, limited edition publication overseen by the members of the band themselves. Inside you will find a large archived of previously-unseen photographs, a personal diary, and a collection of tour memorabilia - including backstage passes and hotel keys. First Deluxe Edition. Guildford: Genesis Publications LTD., 2006. Large 4to. (36x31cm). Original black publisher's leather in decorative solander case. This deluxe edition contains an additional photo of Mick Jagger signed by Sykes, as well as the signatures of Sykes and Ridge within the book. Also included is a facsimile of the "Starship" 12-page promotional brochure illustrating and describing the aircraft on which the tour was travelled. Alongside this, two replica hotel room keys and 40 backstage passes are housed in compartments within the solander case. Fine. Impeccably preserved inside solander case.
