These 152 pages look at the 100 year development of…the movement with particular emphasis on youth groups, musical presentations and former leading officers. LOTS of b/w photo illustrations. Cond : Cream coloured paper wrapper with wrap-around (montage) illus. of Salvation Army marching band. Corners and edges are MOSTLY sharp w/ one fore corner sli. dogged and bumped. Spine fine, binding tight, colours bright. No names, marks, tears, creases, folds nor stains. Good research document of Newfoundland history from the days when it was a " colony ". Quote (p. 21) : " . every hindrance and despite the puny efforts of consevative religionists, and already in this country its numbers are rapidly increasing.
